The Quick Start signing ceremony was held at the North Georgia Technical College Cherrie campus on August 8th to officially approve the training program established by the Quick Start staff and Axis Products team members. 
Mathew Briggs (Georgia Operations Manager) and
Steve Romanowski (Director of Automation & Technology) attended representing Axis for the event. The signing was attended by Jeff Lynn- Quick Start- Director Northern Operations (bottom left), Dr. Ruth Nichols-North Georgia Technical College- President (bottom right), in addition other key contributors include Richard Dixon- Quick Start Coordinator, Dr. Judy Taylor-North Georgia Technical College- V.P. Economics and Mitch Griggs -Stephens County Economic Development. Axis Products extends our thanks to each individual that has assisted in the startup efforts.

Carry-on Trailer Corporation announced on July 14, 2006 that Axis Products was awarded the cargo and utility trailer axle business through 2007. This is the second consecutive year that Axis Products has won this contract. Carry-on Trailer is the largest manufacturer of cargo and utility trailers last year producing over 150,000 trailers sold within the U.S.. Eric Overbey (President of Axis Products) was notified of the decision on July 14th. Axis Products opened a brand new facility 17 miles from Carry-on's Lavonia, Georgia site in June of 2006. Axle Supplies New Facility a 53,000 Ft². - Manufacturing and Attaching Parts Inventory was open for business August 18th 2006. This move from Beebe to Ward doubled the operational footage to meet growing demand. James Cossey, Axle Supplies Operational Manager, and the  employees executed the move to the new facility while continuing to produce orders for their growing customer base. The new facility will enable Axle Supplies to continue their more than 40 % growth trend through 2010.
